Employment Opportunities SSCB currently has no employment opportunities, but prospective employees are encouraged to check back to this page often. For each job opportunity, there is a list of qualification criteria, position description, and assessment guideline. Vacancies then announced on our website and at least once in a local newspaper before a position can be filled. Following adequate time for receipt of applications, a preliminary screening is performed using the list of qualification criteria and a list of potential interviewees is developed. Candidates are then contacted for an interview and are provided a copy of the position description. During the interviews, each candidate is assessed according to the assessment guideline. Following the interviews a decision is made or a short list is developed. If necessary subsequent rounds of interviews will take place, re-assessing each candidate against the assessment guideline, until a decision is made. All Board Members are required to declare a conflict of interest prior to commencement of the hiring process. Those who are in a conflict position are excluded from the process. SSCB does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, age, or sexual orientation.
